In the first part of this program, participants had two opportunities to gather around a significant word or phrase, such as “creativity”, “safety,” and “freedom.” Each member of each group then shared with others in the group what had attracted him or her to that word.
For the second part of the program, BACN members returned to their seats and wrote down brief lists of what they were grateful for in 2015. They then shared with each other how the items on that list connected to the words that they chose.
At the end of the meeting, people shared what they got from the exercise. As always when BACN presents this program, participants gained insights into each other’s personalities and made deeper connections with their fellow BACN members. There were many enthusiastic testimonials for both the November program and BACN itself.
with Nora Wolfson
Have you ever felt uneasy when collaborating on a project or referring a colleague to a client? The origin may be core values, perhaps unspoken, that are not aligned.
Back by popular demand, master facilitator Nora Wolfson will help you discover people who are naturally aligned with the way you operate your practice. You don't need to make yourself a square peg trying to fit into a round hole.
Come to the November BACN meeting (our last meeting in 2015) in order to
- Recognize what is most important to you – and share it.
- Deepen existing connections and initiate new ones
- Create opportunities for mutual collaboration and appreciation
- Take away a values-based approach to referring and working with colleagues
Due to the nature of this program, we will not have our regular Creating Connections and Members' Forum segments, but there will still be a Life Hacks tip.
