About the Facilitator: Doug Ott

Doug Ott is a business development consultant, coach, trainer, and public speaker. His primary focus is to take the mystery and fear out of sales and help professionals grow their business in an authentic and effective manner.

Doug has more than three decades of experience in business development, marketing, and sales leadership roles. Almost half of that time has been in the professional services market working with accountants and lawyers. The other half of his career was in the tech market in Silicon Valley and overseas in Munich, Germany.

For 8 years, Doug led business development in the West Region for Deloitte’s Forensic and Advisory Practice where he built relationships with Fortune 100 companies and international law firms.

Doug enjoys working with professionals at firms of all sizes across the U.S. ranging from solo practitioners to large international firms. His pragmatic and strategic approach allows individuals and groups at all levels within an organization to incorporate a more effective way of conducting business development that fits the individual’s unique personality and style.

Most of Doug’s consulting and coaching is done remotely from his home office in Truckee, CA. When he is not helping clients, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife, son and three dogs. His passion for cycling and skiing is fulfilled in the beautiful mountains of Lake Tahoe which he is proud to call home.
